Oct 28, the World Economic Forum released the ranking that showed the levels of gender equality in the world, and Japan came in 104th out of 142 countries. This number is the worst place in the other developed countries. This ranking was based on the gap of gender in the education, politics, health and job. The ranking showed us that Japan has a big gender gap, especially in fields of politics and job. Certainly, people have said for a long time it is very hard for women who are married or have children
to continue or find new jobs and I also know the problem. Although I have never
felt the gender gap in daily life, after find a job, I will have to fight with the problem. I think the gap should not be arisen, when women do the same work or have the same ability as men and Japanese government should not squabble about worthless things but try to learn a lot of things from other developed countries to find solutions.
