U.S. new-car sales rose in September. General Motors Co., Nissan Motor Co., Honda Motor Co. and Chrysler Group LLC increased their car sales by double-digit percentage. This is a result of low-interest rates, economic recovery and attractive lease offers in U.S. And it is interesting that not only U.S. car makers increased their sales, but also Japanese car makers did that, because of weaker yen and potential popularity of Japanese car. Their quality is so high, and fuel economy of them is good, so all costs of having them is inexpensive.
I think that this strong U.S. sales will stop, but if Japanese car makers can continue to keep their quality, they will survive.
