I believe there are numerous benefits to continuing online classes at universities, especially in the post-COVID era. Online classes free students from geographical constraints, allowing them to participate from their homes or remote locations. This ensures access to university education for many, regardless of their place of residence or life circumstances. Online classes offer the advantage of reducing commuting time and providing the possibility of a flexible schedule. Students can record class lectures for later viewing and progress through their studies at their own pace. Engaging in online classes also gives students the opportunity to enhance skills related to remote work and digital literacy, contributing to increased adaptability in future workplaces. Additionally, considering the large student population relative to the campus size at our university, maintaining a portion of classes online can help prevent overcrowding on campus. These advantages position online classes as a flexible and effective learning method. However, it’s crucial not to forget the value of in-person classes and the importance of communication. Striking a balance while evolving with these considerations is essential.
