These days, a controversy on “Whether Tokyo Olympics should be held or not” is breaking out around the world. There are many people who say, “Before holding the Olympics, we should do other things!” However, there are people who say, “Holding the Olympics, make Japan promote!” and “All effort will be waste!” Under this controversy, I just thought “Do we have to hold Olympics?” Ordinary, we held Olympics for our piece. However, we are sometimes threaded our peace because of Olympics. For example, there is a possibility of terrorism, and some conflict will be occurred. In china and Russia, there are anti-government demonstration until just before Beijing and Sochi Olympics. One of the reasons is to appear their ideology. Almost all people pay attention to Olympics so, it is useful for them to occur some incidents while the country gets hot for Olympics. If the government is off their guard even a little bit, it can occur during event dates. It is not only violence problems, but some controversies can be also occurred, and governments have to commix their opinions. In addition, they have to manage the event within the budget. If they couldn’t do, the government collect money from our taxes as their new budget. The budget of Tokyo2020 was 730 billion yen at first, however it becomes 2 trillion 500 billion yen. A trillion and 770 billion was gathered because of Olympics. I think if government have the 2 trillion and 500 billion, they have to do other things to improve national lives. We have a lot of problems, declining birthrate, covid-19, environmental problems, and so on. It is not only in Japan, but there are also huge problems around the world. Our world is not growing like it used to be, we don’t have rooms hold Olympics every 4 years. If we do so, we have to minimize the scale of it.
