Language is what human being have and shows what community they belong to. Also, language is very unique by each culture. Suprisingly, there are 7,168 languages in the world, according to the latest date.

There is a rescent survey about languages that many people speak. Undoubtedly, the language which is spoken by the most people is English. There are about 1.3 billion speakers in the world and it is spoken in global bussiness or internatinal communication. The second language is Chinese. 1.1 billion people speak Chinese because China has a very large population. Also, rescently, as Chinese economy has been deceloping rapidly, Chinese has a big impact on the world. The third language is Hindi. There are 600 million speakers. The fourth language is Spanish and 500 people speak it. Spanish has also an influence on culuture widely. The fifth language is Arabic. It has been having a major effect on Islamic culuture and religion.

There are so many languages that we have never heard! It is intersting! Although it is hard to learn other languages, learning other languages will give us a chance to understand their culture.
