Well, that was great…. The message that director Makoto Shinkai wanted to portray by shaking off all expectations. I was overwhelmed by its awesomeness. The alarms that echoed so loudly that annotations are not enough may still be advising those who are still alive. This review is not intended to be a spoilerific one. The film is akin to “What’s Your Name? and “The Weather Child,” director Makoto Shinkai has depicted natural disasters in his films “Kimi no na wa. This is a subject that cannot be left to fiction. It is a kind of taboo to be involved in the “fun” of the story. The story steps into this area and depicts the countdown to death and the resolve of the people who welcome the victims as “door closers”. It is a story of hope that can only be depicted in animation. As a result, I feel that it is a wonderful thing. The conflict between the resolve to live and death that is always being questioned. Suzume’s unwavering determination and the backbone linked to reality. Her strong will to stay alert to the alarms that sound repeatedly and to stop the tragedy that will soon take place is unknowingly protecting people’s lives. The people we meet are also important people, coloring over each other.
