This movie tells us about people who are isolated in modern society. The main character is Yuta, a junior high school student who was sent to an orphanage by his single mother. This boy, who feels lonely because he doesn’t fit in with the people around him at school or in institutions, always has one wish: to meet his mother. One day, he escapes from the facility and goes to see his mother. His mother acts like he’s accepted, but secretly contacts the facility. He trusted his mother as his only blood relation and thought she would accept him. As soon as the staff of the facility came to pick him up, he ran away from the place and spent time in a completely unknown place. This story really hurts my heart. Still, the main characters, a boy, a homeless man and a high school girl, live so recklessly that we change our minds after watching it.

The story is very impressive with a message, but I was just as blown away by the performance of the 15-year-old actor as a lonely boy. This is his second appearance in the film. His sorrowful face is not easily portrayed by ordinary people.
