This drama is a story set in an upscale residential area called SKY Castle, and it depicts the exam wars between the residents of SKY Castle and their parents, and their pride and vanity. The mothers who live here are desperate to get their children into prestigious universities. The director, Cho Hyun-taek, hopes to create an opportunity to put a stop to the overly educated and disparate society by daring to realistically depict the obsession of the Korean upper class with wealth, honor, and power, and the oppressive education of children who are forced to bear the desires of their parents. Through the various incidents that occur among these residents, we are made to think about what the best thing for their children is.
