I’m writing “Cinderella” review because I love the live-action version of Cinderella that was released in 2015. As we all know, this is a live action movie based on Charles Perrault’s fairy tale “Cinderella”. Cinderella was played by Lily James and the prince was played by Richard Madden. The story is well known, so I won’t go into too much detail. Ella grew up in a wealthy family, but when her mother died, she went to live with her father’s new wife and their two children. But soon after, her father dies. Ella’s stepmother and her two sisters name her Cinderella and treat her like a servant. Unable to bear such treatment, Ella runs away to the forest, where she meets a man named Kid and is attracted to him.
One of the most amazing techniques used in this movie is the very realistic CG. As you know, when Cinderella rides to the ball in a carriage, she is accompanied by a pumpkin carriage made by the magic of Fairy Godmother, mice and lizards. The CG of the animals is a bit creepy but realistic, and the scene where Fairy Godmother puts a spell on Cinderella to make her wear a blue dress is very beautiful.

I don’t always like live-action adaptations of cartoons and comics, but the live-action version of Cinderella is really beautiful and Lily James, who plays Cinderella, is adorable and a true princess. Please watch it and see for yourself!
