I’m going to review a movie I saw once before called “love, rosie”. This movie was released in 2014 and I highly recommend it. The main characters are Rosie Dunne (played by Lily Collins) and Alex Stewart (played by Sam Claflin). They have been childhood friends since they were six years old and have shared their youth together since they were little. They’ve been more than friends, but less than lovers. When they were in high school, they discussed their future and decided to leave their hometown to pursue their dreams. However, when Rosie found out that she was pregnant with a man she didn’t like, she decided to raise the child alone without consulting Alex. This is the story of the two of them continuing to grow apart after that.
First of all, Lily Collins is very cute and beautiful!!The film is fast-paced and the story progresses quickly, so it’s easy to watch and not get bored. And even though the two love each other, Rosie and Alex continue to grow apart.　The title of this movie is translated as “One more inch of love” in Japanese. In Japanese, which refers to the relationship between Rosie and Alex who are just one centimeter away from falling in love.
It’s very sad, frustrating, and even a little bit angry. It’s heartbreaking, funny, and makes me happy.
