Love Asakusa

There are many sightseeing spots in Tokyo such as Shibuya, Harajuku, Akihabara and Tokyo station, but Asakusa is the best place to enjoy Japanese culture with foreigners.

Asakusa was chosen for the best place to visit for foreign tourists. According to the cites of Tito Ward Office, more than nine million people visit Asakusa every par year recently.  Why such a number of people go sightseeing to Asakusa.

I like to eat around Nakamise-dori. It is the main street of  Asakusa temple. There are various Japanese shops such as foods, souvenirs and cloths.

When you step into the Asakusa temple, the sweet smell makes you hungry. That comes from ningyo-yaki, dango, and agemanju. There are not only delicious but also Japanese traditional round foods.

I like the buildings in Asakusa that symbolize the Japanese culture. There is the huge gate known as Kaminarimon with red lantern. This is the most famous photo spot in Asakusa. Going through the main street, Nakamise-dori, the main part of Asakusa appears in front of visitors.

It is Senso-ji !!!!   which is famous as big and historical temple in Japan. Tourists from other countries can feel Japanese cultures from these two buildings.

I like entertainments and are also popular in Asakusa. Jinrikisya is the best way for people who want to see around there. It is a small, two-wheeled, cart that is like passenger vehicle pulled by one person. It was widely used in Japan as transportation until early 20thcentury. Shafu, who pulls Jinrikisha will act as a tour guide and take passengers around the major sightseeing spots in Asakusa. Foreign people can pretend to be those who lived in an ancient Japan while they are able to feel and learn Japanese cultures.

Asakusa is the best place to visit for people from other countries. It is no doubt that you can absolutely feel Japanese culture from delicious foods, big buildings and fantastic entertainments that satisfy their feeling and hunger!!!
