UNICEF claims that there are many poor children who are avoided, put aside and taken everything what they need to survive away from the society. They did the experiment with Anano, 6, a child actor standing in a public places such as a street and a restaurant in Tbilisi, Georgia to show how people are going to react differently by changing her appearance both poor and normal. The fact they got from this experiment was when her appearance is as a little normal girl, people around came to talk to her asking what is she doing there. However, if she pretend she is poor with duty clothes and make up, people ignored. Eventually, Anano couldn’t keep acting because a man who was in the restaurant told clerk to take her away.

This fact made me so sad and sorry for Anano because even though she was only acting for the UNICEF experiment, she was too upset to stand pretending. I think that this eperiment shows us how children’s identities are disrespected, ignored, put aside, and taken away from themselves. Moreover, we could imagine millions of children around the world in the same situations are suffering every day. I think that there should be fair chance for every single one of children in poverty and we need to change somehow. For sure, I believe we should care about a girl, 6 years old, standing alone in a public place no matter what she wear and how she look like because there is nothing different between poor and rich.

First time when I saw the picture i was high school student and seeing the picture I clearly remember that I lost my words. Also, I knew the story about a photographer who took this picture and that was a shocking fact as well.
