“Tokyo Ghoul” is one of Japanese films I like.  It is the story about man-eating “humans” which is called “Ghoul”.

Ghoul is normally in the semblance of human, but it changes its appearance when eating human.  Its eyes stain red and big predation organs grow on its body.

In this film, Masataka Kubota, who is my favorite actor, plays a lead character whose name is Kaneki.

Kaneki was originally a normal human but became half-Ghoul after an accident.  The change was very shocking for him because he couldn’t keep living without eating human fresh.  Moreover, Commision of Counter Ghoul searches and expels Ghoul in the world of Tokyo Ghoul.  If Ghoul is caught by CCG officers and can’t escape, it will mean death.  So killing human and fighting with human is necessary for Kaneki as a Ghoul.

At first, he was scared of these action.  However, living as a Ghoul with other Ghoul, he experiences many things and grows mentally.  If you have an opportunity to watch “Tokyo Ghoul”, please focus attention on his change.
