According to Syrian operated TV, Islamic State (IS), radical Islamism, murdered at least 400 people in Palmyra till May 24, 2015. IS killed them who supported the Syrian government and they included thier families like many children and women. After that, on 25th May, Syrian government troop did 15 times aerial bombings in Palmyra.

The origin of the affair was on 21th May. That day, IS hit the palmyra art museum and destroyed some statues. IS also raised the IS flag in the ancient castle in the town.

Palmyra is famous for the ancient ruins including the world heritage, so there is the danger of not only people lives but also the destruction of these valued ruins.
