From December, automobile which drives by hydrogen was selled. It is called FCV(Fuel Cell Vehicle), by TOYOTA. To sell the FCV is first in the world. The name is “MIRAI” which means “future” in English.

It makes public on December 18th, at National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

It was said that the hydrogen automobile is impossible to make at one time because to stock hydrogen had danger of hydrogen explosion. However, many companies and scientists in all over the world try to do, and they have competed.

TOYOTA succeeded to make FUel Cell in 1994, and first car was put in 1996. To load hydrogen was so serious problem to solve.

Also, in 2015, Honda will sell the hydrogen automobile.

Hydrogen automobile is said that “the ultimate environmental-friednly car.” But there are still a lot of problems. Its price is so expensive, about 7 million yen. And to build hydrogen-gas station cost 500 million yen. Not only the money, but also others, the risk of when the accident happen did not solved.

If these problems are solved, the FCV will be perfect car! And I hope to solve someday.
