The European Parliament has approved regulation on the use of artificial intelligence. It is going to be applied in 2026, and it will be the first regulation in the world that is comprehensive and clear for a human-centric development of AI.

EU leaded the world such as the law of privacy protection, then it had an impact on local legislation and business. Japan also need to close look at the effect of this regulation, and prepare for controling the use of AI to keep a good balance between safety and promoting.

Recentry, “Deep Fake”, which is computer-generated images of human subjects that do not exist in real life, sometime confused society. Therefore, Japan should implement effective countermeasures quickly.
