The Notebook”(originally titled “The Fault in Our Stars”) is a novel by John Green, which was also made into a movie in 2014.

Hazel Grace Lancaster is a young man with cancer and a limited life expectancy who spends her days with an oxygen tank in her hand. Her mother persuades her to join a cancer support group. There she meets Augustus Waters, another young man with cancer who also has a limited life expectancy.

Augustus has lost one of his legs to prostate cancer, but Hazel is drawn to his free-spirited and positive personality, and the two feel a deep bond with each other. Their love deepens as they share their common hobby of books and their thoughts about each other’s lives.

The story depicts the beauty and meaning of living and loving while facing the disease of cancer. It is a touching, yet humorous and wise work that will make you think deeply about the characters’ growth and love.

This movie is my favorite movie. It makes you think about what love is very often. The images are very beautiful and there are many enchanting depictions. The end of the story is also my personal favorite. It is an eternal masterpiece that I sometimes want to watch again.
