“Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” is based on the classic children’s book by Roald Dahl, which has been adapted for film and stage several times.

Charlie Bucket is a boy from a poor family who only gets his favorite chocolate once a year, on his birthday. One day, Willy Wonka, the owner of a world-famous chocolate factory, makes a big promotion by inviting five lucky children to visit the factory. A tour of the factory is the perfect opportunity to enjoy his outlandish inventions and unique chocolate products.

The five chosen children are the lucky ones who find their golden ticket. They include Charlie, the hero, although some of them are self-centered and spoiled children. They are invited to Wonka’s chocolate factory, where an adventure full of surprises and humor ensues.

The story is about miracles, good intentions, and the children’s attempts to grow and dream. In addition, Wonka’s unique and fantastic character adds charm to the story.

Everyone has seen this movie at least once in their childhood. It’s a fantasy film, but it’s also somewhat realistic and gives us a dream. I would love to visit the Chocolate Factory, too, and look out for the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie coming out in December 2023!
