Today, there is a common vision of equality that seeks both the notions of “”Equality of outcome” and “equality of opportunity” It is not an issue of one or the other, but of being able to distinguish multiple perspectives on equality and determining which measure of equality should be applied in each circumstance. Depending on the situation, it may be preferable to focus just on “equality of opportunity” or to progress toward “The same outcome. The judgment will be based on the reality of the gap and the features of the location. Some will, of course, disagree with this attitude and approach. Many other nations, notably Sweden and Finland, have implemented quota systems for members of parliament. It is desirable for us, as members of society, to have our own opinions about each subject area, to broaden the community conversation, and to establish an opinion about society. This cannot be accomplished overnight. It cannot be done individually and must be done as a society. It should be extensively and persistently debated in the community and built up one by one. For that to happen, I would encourage people to reconsider this issue.
