I watched “Youth of May”, and I became this is the best drama that I’ve ever watched.

“Youth of May” is set in 1980 during the Gwangju Uprising, following the love story.

The first part of this drama depicts a retro love romance in the 1980s in Korea. However, the situation changed, the main characters who were university students were subject to military detention. The heroine was a poor girl who worked as a nurse. The hero was a rich university student who had learned medical care. Because of her poor, she was captured and shot by the military, but the hero ends up saving his life because he was rich and his parents were upper military.

It is a sad story of a man and woman who initially genuinely loved each other, but are bereft by the state. The story of these two people actually happened, and the various people who appear in the story are people who actually existed.
