Brotherhood is one of my favorite movies. This is a Korean movie about Korean war. There are brothers who brought to an army.

Older brother, Jin-tae is told by a superior that if he can earn the highest award for a South Korean soldier, his brother can be sent home. Jin-tae volunteers for many dangerous missions and performs suicidal acts of bravery to earn the medal, and is quickly promoted. His heroism finally results in Jin-tae’s nomination for the medal, but his combat experiences have made him into an emotionless killer, which horrifies his younger brother. However, younger brother, Jin-seok chooses to rejoin the Army.

In the war, the brothers were spreted, and they will never see again. Jin-seok go back home, but Jin-tae never come back home. So, Jin-seok go everywhere from South Korea to China to look for his brother’s remains. In 2003, after 50 years from the war, Jin-seok finally found Jin-tae’s remains. Jin-seok stands at the excavation site; the remains initially identified as his are those of Jin-tae. He examines Jin-tae’s few excavated belongings, including their long-lost silver pen, and begs his brother’s skeletal remains to speak to him.

This movie is one of saddest movies I have ever watched. However, I relly love this movie, and I watched it for more than 10 times. I lovd this movie  because I feel the power of family love. I also realize that war is the saddest thing in the world, and it cannot be happened again.
