I watched a new film by Akihiro Nishino last week. The story is based on a small city which is apart from the other areas. People living there have never been outside of the city because the army has a secret and they never let them go out of there. Hundreds of chimneys are built so that people can’t see the sky, which might make people realize the existence of the outer world.

On a halloween day, a “trash man” called Poupelle appeared on the city and made some friends. Everybody was wearing costumes because it was Halloween but after that the man was placed on the wanted list. People started to hate him but one boy trusted him and the boy told Poupelle about his father’s story. He believed that there are thousands of stars above the sky although it can’t be seen because of the thick clouds.

Then, they made a plan to unleash the clouds by exploding dynamite on the sky. It sounds a bit crazy and the fight against the army soon started.

The whole story has a strong message to all of us. This film will make us think that nothing is impossible. If you want to be inspired, you must watch this!
