The Sound of Music is one of my most favorites movies. My grandmother originally loved this movie, and she recommended me when I was young. It is an American musical film released in 1965. In the 1930s Austria, Maria is a young postulant who attempts to become a member of the community of nuns. Despite her request, the nuns thought that Maria is too freely and she is not suitable for a nun. When navy captain Georg Von Trapp asked the monastery to introduce him to a governess, The mother abbess sent Maria to his house. The captain’s wife was dead, and he has been raising his seven children in the style of the military. In such a strict home environment, Maria told captain Trapp and her children the music, kindness, and smile. Maria often quarrels with captain Trapp due to the difference in educational policy. Although they are on cat-and-dog terms, through living together, these two fell in love, and Maria became a mother of seven children. The remarkable point of this film is the beautiful Austrian scene and unforgettable music. In the last scene that the Trapp family crossed into Switzerland on foot is also impressive.
I have watched this movie many times, but it never gets boring.
