I recommend “Kids on the Slope”. Its Japanese title is “Sakamiti no Aporon”. This movie’s original story is comicook thap was written by Yuki Kodama. This cartoon was published on monthly Flowers since 2007. This  story’s main character is Kaoru Nishimi who was performed by Yuri Chinen. Another character is Sentaro Kawabuti who was performed by Taiski Nakagawa. Its hiroine is Rituko Mukae who was performed by Nana Komatu. She is called Ricchan in this story.

This movie is set in Sasebo in Nagasaki. Kaoru Nishimi moved there from Yokosuka. He is good at piano, so he always plays piano. When he go to new school at first, he meet Sentaro Kawabuti whose hair is red. He is known as a famous bad boy by students. Kaoru also meet Rituko Mukae. She is a class president. So, she introduce their school after school. Her family run records shop. They go there. Kaoru watches Sentaro who is playing drum. He play jazz. Kaoru jums with Sentaro. Kaoru find amusement of jazz.

I think that we can learn importance of friendship from this movie. In addition, jazz music that is used in this movie is so cool. I start to listen jazz these days. If you are interested in it, please watch it!!
