I saw this movie when I was final grade in high school with my ex-girlfreind. After we saw it, we couldn’t say a word. The film wasn’t suitable for a date. Very heavy and sad movie. The story starts from New York. One trumpet player is mistaken for a black slave and kidnaps to a southern field. He left family, so he tried to escape. His owner wasn’t easy. He and his mate got so many problems.

I learned history about slaves in America. This　movie tells us whether a slave was treated cruelly. I definatelly recommend not see at your lovely date.
