Same-sex couples can get rights same as opposite-sex couples in about 20% countries of world. In the particular developed counties, over half countries give rights to same-sex couples. I think that same-sex couples are accepted has some good points. There are three reasons why same-sex marriage should be accepted.

First of all, the same-sex couple does not bear any babies but they can get their children as adapted children, so they can save orphans. Some people absolutely worry about children growing up with gay or lesbian parents because that way is very far from normal. However, according to a new study from Melbourne University in Australia, “children of the same-sex parents are healthier and more adjusted than children of the straight parents”. Children of gay couple scored significantly better when it came to general health as well as family cohesion, meaning the families got along better with one another. And Abbie Goldberg, a psychologist at Clark University in Massachusetts who study gay and lesbian parenting, stated that “Gay parents tend to be more motivated, more committed than straight parents because they chose to be parents”. Orphans could not be families even though same-sex parents would want to get their child. Same-sex marriage should be accepted for poor orphans.

Moreover, I think same-sex marriage would boost economics if gay or lesbian couples are free to marry. Witeck Communication, a research company, clarified “LGBT people have purchasing power that is 830 billion dollar per a year”. Well Fargo, a big bank in USA, has started The Advertisement which models is LGBT. The bank told to CNN that “we commit the community of LGBT. That’s why we made that ad”. And some companies, Tiffany & Co., banana republic, Gap etc. have made many ads for LGBT. The Williams Institute at UCLA, which performs public policy and law research on sexual orientation and gender identity, estimated in 2014 that same-sex weddings could be worth about $2.5 billion total through the first three years when they are legalized nationwide.

Finally, same-sex couples could get social insurances if same-sex marriage would be accepted. They can’t meet their other partner at emergency in a hospital and can’t get heritage under the present low. That is because they are not accepted as a legal couple. However, the regulation for LGBT was introduced in Shibuya at first time in Japan. According to Ampersand Administrative Scrivener Office, “The most features of the regulation are that discriminations against LGBT are forbidden and the president in Shibuya can testify that same-sex couples are treated as opposite-sex couples”. The regulation enables same-sex couples to get social insurances same as opposite couples. I hope the regulation become popular more and introduced whole of Japan.

In conclusion, it is clear that there are some good points when same-sex marriage is accepted legally in Japan. Japanese constitution has never been changed. That means Japanese constitution has been old for a long time. It’s time to make Japanese constitution better. We have to be kind for all human beings.
