Nowadays robots are becoming more and more popular. People can get robots easily and it becomes our part of life. Some people say that robots are not necessary for their lives. However I think robots are necessary for our society. I want to introduce some roles, which robots fill in our society. First, robots can play a big role at the scene of disaster. For example, drone is one of the useful robots to help people. It can take movies or photos at the place where people cannot set foot in and people can know the situation of the scene or where victims are. Second, robots can play a role in our daily life. For example, Roomba is one of the useful robots in our house. Roomba is a robotic vacuum cleaner and it cleans the room automatically. Also people can instruct it from office by using remote control. Busy people have no time to clean their house by themselves, so I think this is very helpful tool for them. Third, robots can play a role in care for elderly people. Nowadays the declining birth rate and the aging population become serious problem in Japan. While the number of elderly people who need care is increasing, there are a few people caring them. That is because care for the old age is one of the heavy lifting. The solution of this is using robots. For example, there are robots, which can lift person when helper tries to give patient a bath. In conclusion, I introduced some examples to show you the effects of robots. Although we need to consider some concerns about make robots our part of life, our society needs robots.
