I’m interested in the article about the child abuse. This ariticle focused on the jobs of caseworkers. Of course, they care parents and children. In addition, they cooperate with other organizations. They have more than seventy cases each of thme so they should overwork. Furthermore, they are on duty to deal with emergency at night or holidays.

This job looks hard because their jobs depend on each family. For instance, a caseworker tells a mother she can’t go to her house in advance. But the mother called her so she had to deal with the call. They can’t ignore them easily because their relationship is very important.

They are busy everyday so they don’t have enough time to care their children. Some people ask their mothers to look after their children. A caseworker said it is kind of the child neglect. They care children but they can’t care their children. I think it is irony for them.

Not only children, but also youth are ill-treated as well. A high school student asked to help his teacher at school. A caseworker judged he would better to live in an institution, but it needs permission of his parents or a court. However, his parents didn’t accept this plan and they said we would not pay school expenses. To judge those cases is difficult for caseworkers because to cut off blood relation is not easy.

I thought their purpose was to save lives of children. However, they make efforts to live parents and children together safely. I think this is the real goal. This child consultation center has many caseworkers, but they have to deal with child abuse every day. I think this job needs a lot of people and funds.
