The movie was made in 1982, the setting is in 2019 in looked like Osaka, Japan. So there were some places which we felt closer. This movie shows to fight between people and replicants. Replicants were made by human. It was originally a symbol of progress of technology. But they gradually got knowledge and feeling. The only symbol changed an enemy.

The movies which a robot have a man made intelligence were often made until about forty years ago, and it was unreality world, just in movie. However, it may be not so far that robots become enemies of humen. So I felt scarcely.
