February 3,2015, James Gallagher, the writer of the BBC news reported that the British lawmakers approves three-person babies that meant help women with mitochondrial diseases.  He told that this is the very first time to legalize such a law in the world that shows Britain is the only country allow to prevent the inheritance of generic diseases.  If there were defects in the mitochondria that means the structure of producing energy could not work as usual.  Furthermore, the diseases cause negative effects on their expected children complications including heart, liver and kidney failure and muscle dystrophy.

As you know, the new regulation is a kind of ‘hope’ for every family who has fear on their lives under the shadow of disease.  On the other hand, the author points out there is also ethical problem such as possibilities of ‘designer child’.  It is obvious that the Catholic and Anglican Churches in England and other group said the new treatment is not safe and ethical anymore.  The writer also states that they said it is prohibit ‘eugenic practices’.  Therefore, there is much room for discussion.  How do you think this new law?  Who knows the future of our world?
