Children are pure and think what adult say is right. Adults who have chances to communicate children should keep that on their mind. This pressure often manifests in high expectations, strict discipline, and limited opportunities for play and socialization. Children subjected to such pressure may experience stress, anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. They may develop a fear of failure and experience burnout at a young age. Furthermore, excessive parental control can hinder children’s ability to explore their own interests and develop essential life skills such as problem-solving and decision-making. In Japan, these parents who pressure their children called “Dokuoya”, it means poison parents. And having these parents is expressed “failure to capsule toy vending machine of parents.”
