Directed by Colin Trevorrow and written by Emily Carmichael. It was scheduled for release in the United States on June 11, 2021, but was later pushed back a year to June 10, 2022, and was released in Japan on July 29, 2022. Sam Neill as Alan Grant and Laura Dern as Ellie Sattler appeared in their first series film in 21 years.
It was exciting to see all the actors from past generations. As usual, the film was full of harrowing scenes with dinosaurs chasing after them, but I watched it with the reassurance that “some of the performers have been in the film for a while, so they won’t die until the end. Since this film is set in a world where dinosaurs are found all over the world, the locations were also shot in various parts of the world.

The car chase scene with dinosaurs and motorcycles in Malta reminds me of MI2. The betting house scene where they outlawed and let the little dinosaurs fight, I think I’ve seen similar pictures many times in other movies. The scene where the dinosaurs are chased and run up to the taking-off transport plane on a motorcycle is another action movie staple. I felt a sense of déjà vu in every scene, and in that sense, the 147 minutes of air time did not seem too long.
