Japan is the one of the countries which has the most organized transportation system in the world. Unless you live in a countryside of Japan, you can take advantage of it. Thus, many people take a train to get to their office or school every day. Surprisingly, about 60 percent of people who live in Tokyo use a train to commute, which is the highest rate compared to other prefectures. Since there are so many users of the train, the train has been had advertisements on its doors, celling and straps. However, since Covid-19 spread in Japan, we have come to see fewer advertisements on trains. It is probably because a number of companies got economic attack and they could not afford to place advertisements on trains as well as other spots. Some people argue that advertisements on trains are unique to Japan, and see them as a Japanese culture. It is sad for trains to have less advertisements and become less attractive.

I mentioned the disappearance of advertisements, especially their material is traditionally paper, but these days more and more companies are using monitors to place their advertisements. The advantage of this is that everyone can understand what companies are promoting visually by just watching either videos or picutures. The way of advertising has been gradually changing every single day, and we will definitely see some new types in the near future.
