Johnny and his company are one of the biggest images of the J-POP industry.       6 months ago, BBC reported that J-POP stars and trainees had experienced sexual abuse from Johnny in their youth. Once they accused Johnny of sexual abuse, they lost the chance of debut, however, they endured it and became his favorite, they can be J-POP stars who have a bright and secure future.
I think what happened to trainees and J-POP stars is really inhumane because the CEO took advantage of them and actually used them to meet his expectations. It is natural that ordinary teenagers can’t defy Johnny who represents the power of the J-POP industry. Even if someone resists and is accused of it, Johnny hides it and makes it nothing. Furthermore, there is another secret of this scandal- the media kept silent on this topic.
Media is supposed to be fair and neutral to everyone in reports, but there is a corrupt relationship between Johnny’s and media companies in a way of bribery. That’s why we haven’t noticed the scandals.
I think media companies should stop using celebrities on TV programs or commercials once they hear a rumor about sexual abuse. At the same time, we need to get information from outside Japan so that we can notice even hidden scandals.
