This is a story about young people dreaming of starting a business in South Korea’s Silicon Valley “sandbox”, meeting friends and striving to grow their company.
The leading character is a girl whose parents divorced at an early age, followed her father who dreamed of starting her business, but lost him in an accident and aimed to start her business to make his dream come true. She enters the sandbox to become an entrepreneur, where she meets a boy who is the younggest winner in the Mathematical Olympiad. They form a team and overcome various barriers for full-scale company management.
I came across this piece during the pandemic and it really gave me courage. Seeing the characters of the same generation continue to challenge their dreams without giving up, I was able to think of doing my best. It’s a work that inspires me.
