BBC says that the terrorism has occurred at November 14th in Liverpool. Police said Monday that they believe one of the passengers brought an explosive device into the car and it suddenly detonated. Then, the suspect was killed in the explosion, but the taxi driver managed to escape. The city’s mayor has said that driver’s “heroic efforts” averted what could have been an “awful disaster.” The taxi driver has locked the doors before the explosion. This action helped limit the explosion and subsequent opportunistic damage caused by the perpetrators. Home Secretary Priti Patel has raised the UK’s terrorism level from substantial to severe following the bombings. Patel said it was the second explosion in the UK in a month. My opinion is that the taxi driver’s actions were not easy and he should be praised. The fact that the passenger died is very sad, but the driver did the best he could do in the circumstances and it’s great that he can make such a good decision quickly in a crisis situation where he is facing a terrorist attack. I think the terrorism should be extinct because terrorism kills innocent and uninvolved citizens and nothing but hatred.
