Cannes highest award Palme d’Or winning work. The story is that the Kim family lived poorly in the semi-basement because they were unemployed, but after their eldest son Giu was hired as a tutor at the mansion of the CEO of an IT company, the lives of the four Kim family changed dramatically.

Most of the story is about the IT president, although there are scenes where this work goes on in other places, such as the semi-underground apartment where Kim Gi-taek, who plays Song Gyun-ho, and his family live, and the streets in the neighborhood. It is unfolded in the mansion where the family of Park Dong-ik (Lee Sun Gyun) lives, and that part feels like watching the stage of one situation. This work made me think about good and evil due to the difference between rich and poor. It was a feeling that such feelings came and went, perhaps because the wealthy were great and the poor were bad. I felt that it was a work that represented a modern society where there was no correct answer and I had to judge right from wrong and live or cry.
