Japan faces problems about Olimpic and tries hard to prepare this, such as building the national stadium, reducing the costs, gathering volunteers and so on. The gorverment will ahieve these problems because these problems are in the evry countries held Olimpic. However, not all contries people treat it bad. Especially, japanese hate a tattoo and prejudice is stiil there. Okinawa in japan had had a custom like a tattoo called “Hajichi”  and local people see this as the symbol of adult woman. Nowadays, however, Hajichi is not good and even young girl in okinawa dislike. This tendency has been increaseing in Japan and has a kind of influence to a success of Olimpic in Tokyo. For example, a lot of hotels does not allow people having a tattoo on their body to take in a spring for the porpose that these people scared the others without a tattoo. However, Japan is a site of Olimpic in 2020 and this event gives serious problem to hotels prohibiting a tattoo.Foreiners should be careful about this rule when they come.

I suppose Japanese people should distinguish fashion tattoos and yakuza tattoos. It’s because I think Japanese people have bad impression toward tattoos because we tend to associate tattoos with yakuza.

I think that Japan should be more flexible and accept about tatoos. I’ve seen many tourist having theri tatoo saying that they suffered to find the place where they can go for an Onsen because many of the places prohibits people with tatoos. Since the olympics are coming this year, I hope Japan will accept more foreign cultures so that many of the people from overseras can spend their time in Japan in a more comfortable way.

Some of my friends have tattoos on their bodies, so they sometimes complain that they get looks from Japanese people in a bad sense, which is sad.
