I introduce American show,TED. This is a foreign program but you can watch on TV in Japan. Also, you can watch it anywhere, anytime, if you can access website of Ted Talks. TED takes a form of presentation, that is, one speaker who speech his ideas is on the stage and other audience listen to the speaker. When you watch this program, you can become one of the audience and listen to interesting topics. TED has three good points especially. First, it has a variety of topics, for example, business, education, science, art and so on. Every time it gives us different topics with different person, so this program is interesting and stimulating. Their talks never bores anyone. Second, all of the speakers in this program are experts of each field. That makes the program better. Experts are used to explain their opinions, ideas, so their speech is really clear and interesting. Finally, each of presentation is short. It takes 20 minutes at the most. It is not long, so you can watch it easily and study English for killing time. To sum up, TED show us a compact presentation which always has excitement owing to it’s variety of topics given by great speakers. It may be fun for you to watch this program.
