This story is about changes of the marriage desire.
According to the survey conducted in 2008 and 2015 by the National Institution for Youth Education, the percentage of men who don’t wish to marry increased.Also women who wish to marry as soon as possible and don’t wish to marry at all increased. So we can say women became more polarized.In addition, the person who doesn’t want a child increased to double.The National Institution for Youth Education thinks that the major reasons of drop of the marriage desire are economical difficulty and comfort of single.Because 63.8% of respondents cited financial challenges, and 50.4% said it is easier to be alone.

I have 2 reasons why I interested in this story.
First, I was surprised because I didn’t know this present condition of young people about marriage. Recently, various SNS developed and it became easier that we get to know and get along with somebody. Additionally, various companies which supported marriage increased. So I thought that people became easy to marry.
Second, I thought that it was serious social problem for Japan and need to discuss because this tendency can connect declining birthrate and influence us.
I think that it is the freedom of people whether they marry or not.But for Japan society, the increase in single rate could be the cause of declining birth rate, it is serious problem.So if the government should do something, I think they should improve depression.If the government does that, at least the person who wanted to marry but couldn’t do because of financial challenges becomes to be able to marriage.
