Ichiro hit in a game on May 23, and the number of hits broke the record of Babe Ruth, who are called “the god of baseball”. In this game, the total of hits in major league get 2874. So, he moves into 42nd place on hits list. I was surprised to hear this news!

Ichiro is forty one years old, but his performance does not create fading impression in the public’s mind.  Although he does not have much opportunity to participate in a game , he always does his best to win the game. I think everyone as well as athletes should try to learn something from what he is, and hope Ichiro keeps active as a baseball player from now on.
