I recently watched John Wick Chapter 4. John Wick was released in 2014 and this was the fourth and final film. It stars Keanu Reeves as an assassin. The film tells the revenge story of Wick, who returns from retirement after the Mafia kills his puppy, a gift from his late wife, in order to get revenge on them. Osaka is also the setting of the movie in this film, and Hiroyuki Sanada also appears in the film, as well as a scene in which Wick speaks Japanese. The action in this film is powerful and worth watching, but it also depicts many complex relationships in the underworld and the characters’ varied emotional states, which I thought were also part of what made the film so interesting. It would be a spoiler, but the most moving part of the film was the way Wick died. The way he died, fighting for peace, was wonderfully beautiful, a kind of art. The movie is over, but I hope that such a masterpiece will be created.
