I watched “Piano to Zanskar” last week. This is a documentary film about a project to transport a piano from London to an elementary school in the Himalayas, located at an altitude of 4,000 meters. However, this documentary did not only broadcast the story of the piano project, but also showed the human drama and the psychological portrayal of the project through interaction with the local people, and it was not just a moving documentary, but raised various issues for us. I found this method of not only showing the title of the film, but also filling in the hidden messages, to be very interesting. When we make a video of something, we have the choice of making what we really want to convey visible or embedding the message as invisible, but for a form like a documentary, we thought we should choose the latter.
