The Intouchables is a french comedy-drama film released in 2011 which is based on a true story. The story is starts when Philippe, a wealthy quadriplegic who owns a hotel, hires a new caregiver, Driss. Driss is black man who is from a poor community. They were from completely different environments and had opposite personalities so they were finding difficulties getting along with each other at first. But as they stay together, they start to understand and stimulate each other, making them best friends at the very end.

I personally feel that this is a film that had aims to step into discrimination problems in France. France still carries serious racial issues, but through this film, it tells us how it is important and how possible it is to get rid of the boundary between races and environment. I think that this message was the most important factor that made this film so evaluated.
