This is the Ted talk by Psychiatrist Robert Waldinger, the director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development.
For 75 years, his team has tracked the lives of 724 men asking about their lives, such as quality of their marriages, job satisfaction, and social activities, and also monitored their physical health.
People often say that they want to be happy in the future so that they want a good job to earn a lot of money.
However, his research revealed this idea is totally wrong, and taught us quality of our close relationship matters a lot to our happiness. Of course I’d love to be happy in the future, therefore even though it is a little difficult to meet my friends in person due to COVID-19,  I will keep in touch with my friends and cherish them!
