Young people nowadays watch YouTube to pass the time and for entertainment, and there are a variety of genres on YouTube. One thing I always notice about group YouTube is that most of the projects are very similar or imitate each other. I don’t think there is anything wrong with imitation, but I often find it boring to watch because it doesn’t bring out the best of each group. In such a situation, there is a YouTube group that has been gradually gaining popularity since last fall. The name of the group is “Ame-raizu. They are a group called “Ame-raizu. They have been doing outlandish and out-of-this-world projects that have never been seen before, and their fun has been gaining popularity nationwide. The fun factor of their projects has been gaining popularity all over Japan. They call themselves a group of geniuses, and as the name suggests, they provide us with projects so interesting that we wonder how they can come up with such a project. One project in particular, called “Roadside Smoking Week,” has become so popular that it has become a standard for uploading a video against smoking on the streets every day for a week. While many groups simply caution street smokers in various ways in their videos, they do not do so at all. They approach street smokers and ask them to let them passively smoke, or annoy them by breathing in secondhand smoke. Not only that, they entertain us with their plans to make the other person feel shame by rolling out a red carpet in front of the street smoker, holding a bouquet made of many cigarettes, wearing a suit, and proposing to the smoker in front of many people. Their videos are the funniest I have ever seen, and I can say with certainty that everyone should watch them.
