On May 20, a cat tossed out a ceremonial pitch at the start of a California minor league baseball game. Why the cat throw?

The name of the cat is Tara. Tara saved his owner who was 4years old boy from a bigger dog than Tara. The video of the sceane was posted on Youtube so Tara became popular and began to be called as hero cat. The video has since amassed more than 21 million views

In the mound, the ball dropped straight to the ground, but a large crowd of “hero cat” fans clapped their hands.

The news is very interesting and humorous. If the accident of the boy happened in Japan and the video was posted on, the cat would not be choosen the pitcher of a start game. I think it is a kind of  American joke.
