‘Step up’ is an American dance movie series whose first one was released in 2006. It is similar to musical in that dancing with music scenes occupy most of the movie as a whole. It is the love story entirely: story of a ballerina who loves a street dancer, and the story includes large scale dancing scenes performed by highly-skilled dancers. Each scene is made very delicately because camera aims at both each or several dancers and the whole performers with various video effects such as slow-down, zoom-up and so on. Additionally, the background musics are finely chosen and those make people feel more and more excited. Needless to say, dancing skills of each dancers are extremely high, so someone who like dance will surely feel satisfied with the quality of dancing at the  movie.

This movie is very unique and interesting because it describes agonies and romances which lots of young people may face in the 21th century. It is attractive and inspiring for those both who are dreaming of wonderful youthful days and who are depressing by severe and stressful reality.
