My favorite character, Pom Pom Purin, finally became the number 1 of all of the Sanrio characters!!!! I am so happy for him and his fans right now. His win is four times, including this year’s win and the first time in the past 9 years! he got 5,613,659 votes this time. the second win is, of course, Cinnamon Roll. he has been winning for the past 5 years.

Before I especially liked Sanrio and Pom Pom Purin, I thought the number 1 would be Hello Kitty every year. but, actually, she isn’t in the number one place for 6 years, she is in the 5th place this year. When I realized this, I felt really shocked. Because she is the ace of Sanrio, everyone knows her everywhere.

I want Sanrio to be like a Disney-sized company. having their own theme park, hotel, and even movies every year. Actually, they have their own 2 theme parks. One is on the west side of Tokyo, and one is in Oita prefecture.  both are really old, and Tokyo’s one is inside the building. it is rare and so far from the center of Tokyo.

At least I want them to use characters in animation. I love the old animations that Sanrio characters are imitating, world-famous stories.
