Hello! Today I’d like to introduce this movie “SPEED”. It was released in 1994 and the first work of Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

One day, Jack Traven, a member of SWAT was ordered to carry out the rescue operation of bus hijacking. A terrorist set a bomb and it would explode when the speed went below 80 kilometers per hour. When Jack succeeded to jump into the bus, one passenger misunderstood that the illegal overstay was disclosed and shot toward him. But the bullet hit the driver. Instead of the driver, Annie, who was also one of passengers drove. Then, they found that there were 15 meter-construction area in the highway, where were lack of road. I couldn’t understand how they took the scene that Jack passed under the bus running 80 kilometers per hour and tried to unlock the bomb. You can feel astonishing speed and tense atmosphere by the camera work.
